As President, Jason stewards the unique vision for SERVE and oversees strategic planning, business development and campaign execution. And all of that sounds terribly ‘corporate’. Is he responsible for those things? Sure. But if you know him, you know he’s anything but ‘corporate’. What he sees as his most rewarding and critical role is the cultivating of authentic, lasting, personal relationships and the connecting of like-minded people. Jason has always believed that what we do isn’t just author consultation/representation and book publicity – it’s a God-honoring use of our unique gifting to encourage, connect and serve others that want to share God with the world.

Prior to his joining the PR by the Book team in 2013 and the launch of SERVE Literary & Media, Jason spent five years with the one of the world’s largest Christian publishing houses, Thomas Nelson/Harper Collins Christian Publishing. There, he led campaigns for 11 New York Times bestselling titles and managed some of the industry’s most successful authors.

With nearly 20 years experience in public relations, Jason’s pre-publishing career includes having directed the efforts of one of Memphis, Tennessee’s most widely-respected agencies, Sossaman + Associates and six years in professional baseball, where he managed the media/public relations department of the Memphis Redbirds – the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.


Judy was blessed to have born into a household where God was the backbone of the family. Her parents’ commitment to their faith wasn’t something they just talked about – it was something they lived. It was through her parents’ example that Judy realized how important it is that you represent your faith always, in every aspect of your life.  So she’s sees her work with SERVE as a unique way to combine her love of Jesus with her passion for publicity, promoting authors, book and ideas that uplift, engage, inspire and inform in His name.

As a twenty-year PR and media specialist with a background in entertainment/music and books, Judy has a fresh, unique perspective when planning a full-service publicity campaign for authors and their projects. Over the years, she’s secured media for clients at nearly every major media outlet in the country, including Today, CBS Evening News, CBS This Morning, New York Times, Associated Press, People, NPR, Us Magazine,Fox & Friends, CNN New Day, SiriusXM, Wall Street Journal, Voice of America,Publishers Weekly, Parade, American Profile, Entertainment Tonight and many others.

Judy came to SERVE from Thomas Nelson imprint W Publishing Group, where she worked as Director of Publicity and led campaigns for top-selling authors like David Jeremiah, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, Louis Giglio, Duck Dynasty’s Corie Robertson and HGTV superstars Chip & Joanna Gaines.
